2018 School Groups - Thank You!

The Spry Farm School Trips

Last week we wrapped up the last of our 2018 School Trips, with a total of 9 school groups, consisting of 13 classes, from 6 different schools, in grades ranging from nursery school to fourth grade. We just wanted to take this time to thank all the school groups who came out to visit the farm!

To the Students…

We were so happy to see your smiling faces and were so impressed with how well-behaved and enthusiastic you all were while visiting the farm. Please do come visit us again!

To the Educators…

You are all doing a fantastic job in teaching our children. The inquisitive, well-behaved students we had out this year goes to show the great work you are doing as educators. Thank you.

To the Parents…

The involvement of school-age childrens’ parents is phenomenal! Not only did we enjoy having you out to the farm as chaperones, but for those of you not able to make it, the parenting work you put in at home shows when we get to interact with your sweet, respectable children. Be proud.

To our "Farmhands"…

We could not do this without you. Whether it is Mom & Dad helping out with hay wagon rides & pony wrangling, Uncle Martin coming out to drive tractor, Auntie Sal coming out to manage hay wagon rides (and our two busy farm boys), Grandma Yvonne watching our boys when they were sick during a school trip, or my brother Matt taking a day to manage the pony paddock… Thank you for taking the time to help out when needed; it is most appreciated and we love you all!

Moving Forward...

This year was a bit of a learning curve for us. We now have a firm grasp on what to expect for future school groups in terms of: timelines, availability, rate structure, and class size so we do have a few new things to implement for our 2019 School Farm Visit season.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and enjoyed a little taste of life on The Spry Farm and we hope to see you all again in the future.

Our remaining 2018 Public Visit dates are as follows...
