Oreo & Tyrion

Oreo & Tyrion are our two pygmy goat wethers (castrated male goats), from a hobby farm called, The 10 Acre Woods, in Anola, MB. They were born April 15, 2016 and are twin brothers. They joined the farm in July 2016.

With help from local goat guru, Carol Inkster (Emo, ON), we banded the boys (castrated) and got a list of minerals and care instructions, to properly provide for them. Carol is our go-to resource; we are extremely appreciative of her help and enjoy her company.

Oreo and Tyrion will ALWAYS have a forever home with us. They are very sweet, well-behaved, social boys and they are definitely a part of the family.

Note: Please don't decide to get goats (or any animal) on a whim. Do your research and be really honest with yourself about how you will care for them financially and otherwise before getting any.

Dixie & Darla

Dixie & Darla are our two pygmy goat does (female goats), from a hobby farm called, The 10 Acre Woods, in Anola, MB. They were born September 1, 2017 and are twin sisters.

The girls were started as bottle babies, in a person's home. They were then brought the The 10 Acre Woods, by the owners, as they were no longer able to care for them. We had casually been looking for a couple de-budded female pygmies to add to our herd, the timing was right, and the rest is history! They joined the farm in December 2017.

Dixie & Darla will ALWAYS have a forever home with us. They are the sweeetest girls, who fit in with the rest of the herd right from the start, and they are definitely a part of the family.

Note: Please don't decide to get goats (or any animal) on a whim. Do your research and be really honest with yourself about how you will care for them financially and otherwise before getting any.

BK

BK joined us in June of 2018 after living the high life at a horse stable in Dryden. At his previous home, when BK and his winter buddies (mini donkeys) moved to their summer pasture, he kept escaping the pen and wreaking havoc on gardens and engaging in general goat Tom Foolery! So his owners put him back into his winter pen, but he was too lonely all by himself so they decided BK needed to move to a place where he could join a goat herd... And BK has been with us ever since!

He is a sweet, social guy who is especially close with Dixie & Darla. BK has a forever home at The Spry Farm.

Note: Please don't decide to get goats (or any animal) on a whim. Do your research and be really honest with yourself about how you will care for them financially and otherwise before getting any.
