Beekeeping and Honey

Local Honey is the Bees Knees!

At The Spry farm, we currently manage a 45 hive apiary with plans for expansion.
Our goal is to be the largest honey producer in Northwestern Ontario.

Our honey is harvested & for sale seasonally and is typically available by mid-July/early August.

Honey availability is announced via our social media accounts, but if you would like to be notified personally, e-mail with the subject line “honey”. We will add you to our e-mail list and notify you directly.

At The Spry Farm we currently manage a 45 hive apiary and harvest local honey.

Beekeeping has become a bit of an addiction for Tyler, who is eager about trying different management techniques, harvesting honey, and creating honey products.

In the future, we also plan to be inspected so we can begin selling nucs in Ontario.

Honey (1kg)

We currently offer our delicious honey in 1 kg jars for $20.00

As our apiary grows, and we harvest more honey, we will also offer 500g and 250g jars as well as bulk honey ($18/kg).

Beeswax (1lb and 1oz)

We offer 1 lb and 1 oz bars of beeswax, as availability allows.

  • 1 lb – $20.00
  • 1 oz – $3.00

In the future, we also look forward to offering honey byproducts for sale as well.

We just had our boys’ birthday party at the Spry Farm and have nothing but great things to say about our experience. They had a beautiful shady spot all set up for us and everyone loved seeing all the animals. We would definitely book another party with them 😊
